Identification

The leaves are opposite, have a broad rounded base, and have 3 pointed spreading lobes. The margins are coarsely toothed. The upper surface has a slightly wrinkled appearance, and the veins are indented.

The ripe fruit is edible. It looks and tastes similar to a cranberry.

This is a deciduous shrub, not a true cranberry (Vaccinium Oxycoccos) which is an evergreen dwarf shrub.
