| Birds | Two bird species with protected status in Minnesota have been seen here: Special concern – Louisiana Waterthrush (Seiurus motacilla), Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) Other birds commonly seen on this site include American Redstart (Setophaga ruticilla), Chestnut-sided Warbler (Dendroica pensylvanica), Ovenbird (Seiurus aurocapillus), Red-bellied Woodpecker (Melanerpes carolinus), Warbling Vireo (Vireo gilvus), Veery (Catharus fuscescens), Yellow Warbler (Dendroica petechia), and Common Yellowthroat (Geothlypis trichas). |
