Getting There
According to the Minnesota DNR this SNA is accessible by canoe but not by land. The Delorme™ atlas shows an “Unimproved Road” or “Foot Trail” leading 0.8 mile from Goodhue County Road 1 east to the site. This is a dead-end gravel road that becomes a driveway leading to a single farm house. There is a small paved field access just next to the woods at one point. It is large enough to park one vehicle. Unfortunately, it is on private property.

There is a narrow wooded corridor along both sides of the North Fork Zumbro River as it passes through farmland from CR 1 in the direction of the SNA. The corridor is negotiable though there is no trail. This may be the best way for a visitor to access the SNA, leaving the car on the shoulder near the bridge.

There are no yellow boundary signs on the river, near the road, or in the woods to indicate the location of the SNA.
