About

Published on Jan 18, 2013

American Coots (Fulica Americana) are water birds often mistaken for ducks. A black duck with a white bill? It's not a duck, although they are seen with ducks at times and like the water like ducks. These Coots seen at a golf course pond in Lake Havasu City Arizona. Shot with Canon SX50 HS camera, video mode.

This is high definition [HD] video footage for Youtube.

Peace,

Mark Allen Channel (4GUESTS.COM)

One lone coot eating vegetation in a small section of the pond that is not frozen. It went onto the shore and started grooming itself and did not appear bothered by us being 6 feet away.
