Overview

The viewing platform in Reick’s Lake Park was once a popular spot to view migrating Tundra Swans in late fall and early spring. Arrival of the birds attracted many birders from Wisconsin and Minnesota every year. Loss of suitable habitat for the swans has greatly reduced their numbers in recent years.
