Minnesota Power maintains the trails in the area. Boulder Lake is a reservoir supplying the drinking water for Duluth. Note: Horseflies and deerflies are a significant problem, especially from mid-June to early September. Hikers are encouraged to use a headnet and wear a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, and gloves. |
