Beyond The Tent recently visited Father Hennepin State Park on Mille Lacs Lake. We had a great time and absolutely loved the campground. There are multiple play grounds, natural wooded campsites, wooded campsites with mowed grass, fishing, beaches and fantastic hiking trails.
