Flight

Habitat

Open areas with low vegetation and some bare ground.

Larval Hosts

Leaves of Hairy Wild Petunia and of plants in the snapdragon and plantain families.

Adult Food

Nectar from aster, chickory, dogbane, gumweed, knapweed, peppermint, Tickseed Sunflower, and other flowers.
