State Parks, Recreation Areas, and Waysides
There are currently 65 state parks, 9 state recreation areas, and 9 state waysides in Minnesota. In May, 2014, Lake Vermillion State Park and adjacent Soudan Underground Mine State Park were merged to become Lake Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park. Upper Sioux Agency State Park was permanently closed to the public on February 16, 2024. |
